  3. Hello! I found you through the blog hop...I love your theme with the homes and gardens! I'm a gardener myself. My only "suggestion" is to make your blog title a little more distinct.

  4. Hello!

I like that your comments are eagerly anticipated :) I also love all the links to other blogs you follow...that's always a fav section for me...

...really love the simplicity of your archives and how easy it is to see what you are all about :)

a gentle critique would be that it is a little crowded at the top between the headers and description that it is a little bit hard finding the beginning of your post content...that's all! :)

  5. thanks so much for joining in and adding the blog hop code to your post! :)
love your header. Could you possibly center the words: People places things I love ?? Perhaps you have it on the left on purpose.
I have been recommending to everyone that they download windows live writer. It makes blogging so easy and enjoyable.
I'm just an email away if you ever need anything!

  7. Hello my dearest! I am thilled that you took the risk with a newborn blog for the review! Kudos to you my dear. I love the simplicity and layout of your blog. I think you have so much potential for a newbie. How exciting!!! Your white background becomes the perfect landscape for all the lovely pictures and dreamscapes you take us to. My gentle suggestion is to move the about you to the top right in your sidebar. This will allow your header to be the showcase as well as invite to be followers to look more in depth to you and your fabulous life. Once again these are just gentle thoughts. I know that taking a risk and putting yourself out there is very scary, but you should feel so proud and empowered. I hope that you are not a no-reply when dealing with comments. I always love being able to respond to my bloggers. Also...if you need anything, Gail and I would love to help. Just let us know what we can do. :)

Have a great finish to the weekend, and I hope this is the beginning of seeing more of you in little blog world. :)

    Cheers~

  8. I think that your blog looks great! Personally, I enjoy the fact that everyones unique style and look comes forth on their blog ~ it should be something that you like, and that pleases you. The only thing that I find a little daunting is word verification and that is because sometimes it looses the comment and it is difficult to return. Keep up what you are doing...it is all super! (-:

  10. Hi Sharon Sweetie...

  12. Hi Sharon.
Your blog is lovely, as is your home and gardens. It has been nice to enjoy a bit of Summer vicariously through your blog. It's COLD here, so a little bit of sunny is nice. :) I really see nothing out of place here. Your blog is very clean and easy to read. It's really nice. If there is a suggestion that I could give, it might be about the links within your posts. This is just personal preference, but when I link via a photo, I simply hyperlink the actual picture instead of listing out the http link below. For me, it is just a cleaner look. Also, I noticed a couple of the pics that you had in a post below looked a bit grainy. I don't believe they were your pics, but rather ones you used as inspiration from the web. When you copy and paste a pic from the web, it is best to keep it at the same or smaller size. When you enlarge a digital image beyond its' original size, it tends to lose clarity. Obviously this is really not a big deal at all, but rather a tip.
Thank you for your visit to my blog and your kind words.

p.s. I'm 100% with Gail on the Windows Live Writer thing. If you don't use it, it will be worth checking into. It's life-changing. No joke.

  13. This is my first time visiting and I have enjoyed your blog. I'm your newest follower and looking forward to reading more!
I like the white background- very clean and makes your pretty pictures stand out. Your blog is also nicely organized. Your header and title is very pretty; however, for what its worth, I did just redo my header to be smaller after reading this post about maximizing your real estate: http://cozylittlehouse.blogspot.com/2011/01/blogger-tips-monday-13111.html
Perhaps you could go down to 1 row of pictures, but really it is nice the way it is. Just something to think about.
